There are so many fun and exciting things to do in this lovely country filled with beautiful people and many joyous occasions for one to partake in and enjoy. The capital city of Montevideo alone is a very wondrous place, much less for the rest of the incredible nation. |
|  I have found that Montevideo is not the kind of city that finds you...you have to go find it! But when you make the effort to dig under the surface just a little there is actually so many great things going on!There are so many culture and artistic events, there's dancing and music...you just have to find it! | haha! that website is atrocious but I've actually heard that this club is quite fun with good music (only at the weekends though, clubs don't open weeknights here really). |
| A great place for live music is Via Bar. We saw a great Blues band there, the Pablo Traberzo Trio. Pablo is an amazing guitarist, unlike anything I've ever seen. They play every Friday night and I know they also play at the Shannon in Ciudad Vieja. |
