Any suggestions on a travel or tourisim guide that would be best to use? I love to use tourism guides when I travel to another country the first time, because just being in a foreign place makes me nervous, and I don't want to miss out on anything interesting and here that I should have seen it!! I always found it hard to find travel books about Uruguay. The tourism center here, next to the municipality in Montevideo has some great books and flyers for free, in Spanish.

There is an annual travel guide that covers all the hotels and activities in all the departments (in Spanish of course). I buy my copy at the grocery store. There is also a travel agency on almost every corner... but I think they are mostly for the locals looking to travel outside the country.
