Airline ticket policy

I bought a round trip ticket on June 2 with the return date 80 days out. my thinking at the time was that in that amount of time i could get a good look at UY. After arriving here I took a week of Spanish from a school that taught me next to nothing for $80.00. I dropped that program like a papa caliente. I do not like being ripped off.

This brings me back to the airline ticket. I contacted Aerolinas Americanos to change my date of return to the U.S..They informed me that a change would incur a $200.00 penalty, plus a fare difference of $8.00. Amonth later I called again and the price for a change would be $336.00. I told them no and that my return flight would be my last on American Airlines.
