| Blog post: Uruguay Students Receive Computers I was reading the Leader Post this afternoon and I came across a print about students in Uruguay receiving computers from the government. Thus, I figure I would write a blog on this! The site: http://www.laptop.org/laptop/ is part of the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) organization. This site offers more insight into what the OLPC does and why it is necessary. Uruguay is one of the more poor countries and they do not see it as a laptop project but as an educational project. There mission statement states:
