Other Mac places charge for diagnosis. don't know anything aboujt their repair quality зause the price quoted to repair mu G-6 power book was so high I bought a Samsung netbook instead. good luck! Depends on what you mean by "broken." Is this a software problem or hardware? If hardware, then what exactly? Cracked screen? Dead hard drive? Trackpad stopped working? Details will help. |

Here's another thought: if the problem isn't too technical, fix it yourself. You can download most Apple repair manuals (though you may have to sped a lot of google time finding yours). I have used Macs since the original 128K model and have often done this.Also, there is a Mac users' group in Montevideo, macanudos dot com dot uy. Maybe they have some ideas. |
