Everybody agrees that Uruguay was a great team and should have done better. But, gents, luck is luck, and they were unlucky.

Diego Forlan received greatly deserved the Adidas Golden Ball. The team beat Mexico and Ghana and lost to the Netherlands, unfortunately.

So, all in all, the team did well.

So we are a group of soccer fans interested in knowing what´s going on!

My Baseball team is the Met's and the General Manager and many players are from your Country.

I like that you are interested in Uruguayan Soccer.

Yesterday Uruguay played a friendly game against Angola in Portugal and won 2-0

Every player is already playing for their teams, mostly in Europe.

Atletico Madrid - Ajax - Napoly - Monaco and many more.

Every few months (maybe three) the Countries have the "Fecha FIFA" when the National Countries teams can get together and play friendly games.

The local tournaments in Uruguay will start next week.

Follow them in "El Pais Uruguay newspaper" Nacional and Penarol are the biggest teams in Uruguay, go to their websites and read about 100 years of history.
