Year Round Accommodation in Cabo Polonio

If you ask any Uruguayan what the most beautiful part of their country is they will no doubt mention somewhere along the beautiful eastern seaboard...in fact I might even bet my hat that they would say Cabo Polonio or Punta del Diablo!

Cabo Polonio really is an incredible place. Untouched, breathtaking, totally natural, fresh blue ocean, white sands, little quaint wooden cabins...its not to be missed! and now it has been deemed a UNESCO heritage site so this trip to the beach is now a "cultural" endeavour too :)

Although it is always recommended to visit the beach during the summer (late November - end of February) really anytime of the year will offer you a memorable experience in Cabo - the waves, the sealions, the sand dunes - they're all there year round...and now there is a place to stay year round too!

Their website is in Spanish (but hey - at least they HAVE a website...and they're in Cabo! That's enterprising enough!). They have hot water, a fridge, bed clothes, and they do breakfast too.

Anyone know any other good places to stay? or are there places to camp there? I think camping might be forbidden because of the environmental protection rules...but then again, what rules are ever actually enforced here?!
