Retired foreign man looking for long-term rental

Thank author of this post/commentI am looking for an apartment or house on the coast, and if I can see the sea from the window it would be very nice. It does not need to be big, one bedroom or a studio. It must have a kitchen and hot water. I will need heat for the cold weather. Cable TV and telephone not important, but I need internet (maybe a nearby internet locutorio is ok). I do not have a car so it must be near to markets and shops. If possible I am trying to keep the rent below $500. I prefer a quiet area; I have stayed in empty towns in Rocha during temporada baixo and like that very much. I am not looking for restaurants or entertainment, just a peaceful place, anywhere south of Chuy.

I am now in Buenos Aires, will be coming to Uruguay in March.

I would also consider a care-taker or house-sitter position. If everything is good maybe I can stay the remainder of the year.
