Local bus services to start agin

Thank author of this post/commentI read today that the intendencia (municipal government) of Rocha plans to restart local bus services in the town and local area.

Rocha is a decent size town in the north east of the country and having passed through there many times I think it would be a great service to the people of the area that rely on larger bus companies from Montevideo like Rutas del Sol to get where they need to go.

Apparently government run local bus services stopped 8 years ago and haven't been seen since - maybe it just wasn't profitable enough? I wonder if this will actually happen or if its just a pre-election promise....we'll see!
