Apartments (Condos) vs Houses)

Thank author of this post/commentMany find comfort in apartments rather than houses, especially in that neighborhood as most have porteros (door men).

Most of the problems expats have shared at the Sunday meetings with respect to crime, related to houses and pickpockets at the Tristan Navaja Feria (street market) and in Cuidad Vieja. What the US Embassy talks about on their website, has not been my experience or that which the expats have shared.
