WHAT DOES ONE DO FOR EMPLOYMENT IN PIRIAPOLIS?
Comment #1 Steve Bowman from Piriapolis & Savannah, Ga (Contact Member) - 01/29/08 16:02
Patricia-I sent you a personal email about this.
As I mentioned, if you're looking for jobs in the domestic economy in UY, or Piriapolis, the prospects are not great.
Feel free to give me a call.
Steve

If you can work here, then maybe selling real estate could garner some "reasonable" income.Otherwise, what skills do you have that can be done "remotely" ie: telecommuniting.

Those look like mostly ads for people that want to sell a course on learning to be an English teacher.. and though it is a list of places in Uruguay.. not all have courses in Uruguay.

There seem to be many job seekers out there, and I am no exception. Where on earth is Piriapolis and what is it famous for? Follow the link below for notifications on whatever duration on jobs you might be qualified for, www.brightermonday.com

It would appear to me that its pretty essential to be fluent, or at least proficient and comfortable with the language if you are expecting to make a living here without external income. Just something to consider...

"Spanish vs English"
Please note, this is an ENGLISH forum about Uruguay. All messages should be generally in English. Of course messages that help English speakers deal with Spanish would be appropriate. There is a SPANISH forum on this site too, Spanish messages should be posted there.
