| New to Forum hi, I am new to the forum. I am not in Urugauy, but planning a trip for march 2011. I am looking to view a property near the sea, with sea views not necessary 'on the beach'. I am still in Canada, just doing some homework before my trip. Thank you. |

If you want a place with a view of the actual sea then you are restricted to the various coastal areas from about Piriapolis to the Brazilian border. If on the other hand you'd be happy with a view of a river which is so wide you can't see land on the other side, then you can extend your options westwards as far as the west "coast" of Colonia. The river water is sometimes a bit brown but it has the advantage of being warmer than the sea :-) |
