Swine Flu, A/H1N1 Virus In Uruguay

Thank author of this post/commentDoes anybody have any thoughts on this flu virus spreading? The local Jardin has been shut down for a week, I am reading reports of 3 new deaths and many hospitalizations in Uruguay yesterday from the virus.

Is it silly to worry or what precautions should I take? My daughter has asthma and I just want to be careful. This article says that Argentina (our very close neighbor with many people coming and going from there daily) has had 44 deaths from the virus.

There was such a big deal about this a few months ago but now that many people have died I am not reading any advice anywhere. Does anyone have any thoughts?
