"Tambien a Domicilio" I'll leave that for you all to figure out the meaning of... and if you are looking for a hair salon or haircut look for a "peluqueria".

For those who don't speak Spanish "tambien a domicilio" means they'll also call to your house.
If anyone has any experience with a good hairdresser in Montevideo that they have actually been to and can vouch for then please post it. One of the things I was nervous about was my first haircut here - especially when you don't speak fluent Spanish!
If you have any kind of a "different" haircut - ie. short, funky, layered etc..you may feel there aren't a huge range of places that cater to you! Once place I liked was Bendito on Blr. Espana (at the intersection with the big Ombu tree)...they are open Tuesday - Saturday 10am-8pm and they stylists are young and artistic, and they're prices are reasonable.
Their phone number is 02-706 75 17, you'll need to make an appointment.
