Thank author of this post/commentWhy does chiropractor equal health conscious to you? Those two things are not exclusive. When I'm on vacation I love to go get a a massage. They're so relaxing and such a treat. I've never thought of visiting the chiropractor while vacating.

Thank author of this post/commentI used to go to a chiropractor for "realignment" of my spine. The chiropractor used a spring loaded device that would thump my spine into place. It was gentile compared to the radical bone twisting alignment of body parts used by some chiropractic manipulators.

The problem with this realignments is that every time a vertebrae is rubbed against a rib when realigned the sharp edges of the vertebrae, that holds the rib in place, begin to become rounded. So the rib will accelerate in its being out of position more often; thus, the procedures are counter-productive.

A better solution is to strengthen the back muscles so the muscles will work with the vertebrae to keep everything aligned.

Thank author of this post/commentVicki, did you read that web page?

"As of yet this directory has no local small chiropractors / chiropractor business listings for Mercedes, Uruguay. But check back soon as directory listings are added daily."

I doubt they will have any such listings "soon, " if ever!

fvansan... now that makes sense! What are some good back exercises?

Thank author of this post/commentThis is a web page that breaks down specific exercises for each region of the back. What I find interesting however, is the back is one big muscle so anything one does to exercise the back can't hurt.

Thanks for asking!

Thank author of this post/commentThat's an excellent site... my interest isn't so much related to chiropractors but to avoid turning to a hunch back from being hunched over the computer all day!

Then you don't need a Chiropractic practitioner for that but instead you need to know more about postures and proper ergonomics. This site have been very informative and useful for me.

Hi Danny, if your on vacation to Uruguay try to relax and do some Uruguay thing, maybe you can set aside Chiropractors because I bet there are plenty of them in Oregon.

must be very careful with chiropractors who claim to be good here.

there are many that are false and play with people's health, before you go, you should make sure it's someone reliable

True.

While I'm not a futbol fan, I always seek out a chiropractor who looks after some of the top players. Its a policy which costs a bit more but a bad chiropractor can do you a lot of damage.

My question is can an American qualified and licensed DC practice in Uruguay? If so, does one need to take a test and/or what are the requirements legally, if any. Please email the answer to my address above--if you know the answer. Thanks in advance for your help. Brian

I also have to agree on that, it is very important that we take extra caution and be very careful when dealing with those people who might be just fooling us and just want to make some money from us. Have a great day guys.

Thank author of this post/comment"Chiropractic Skills"

I wouldn't worry about someone pretending to be a Chiropractor as some kind of scam to take your money... I would worry about someone not having sufficient training and causing damage to my body with an inappropriate or poorly implemented adjustment!

For the nonspellers: Urugauy and Monte Video is Montevideo (monte-vid-day-o), real estate agents are "Inmobiliaria", and of course Uruguay is not spelled Uraguay. 3540052839
