| Paysandu I'm a South African that is planning to live and work in Uruguay and decided to go to Paysandu. Can anybody tell me how it is to live and work there? I would like to get involved with agriculture there. I'm also a farrier (horse shoeing) and want to know if that is also a horse area. Hope you can help. Ria |

When travelling to a motor racing meet a month ago we were delayed by vast numbers of horses and horse boxes which were attending a rodeo there. I live a long way south of Paysandu in Colonia departmento so know little about the place except to say that its one of Uruguay's larger cities with a mixed agricultural economy. |

Thank you Patrick, that sounds promising! I cannot wait to get there. |
