I think the 2010 FIFA World Cup was a lot more exciting for Uruguay. What about the rest of you? Will they win in 2014? Will playing close by in Brazil give them a home court advantage so to speak?

We all know the commitment of the Uruguayan Soccer players with the game and Country, they always give everything they have and sometimes the pressure to deliver is too much.

President Mujica got it right when he said to the Team "Remember you are going to play Soccer, you are not going to war" wise commentary from a very realistic Man who knows his horses.

They played the World Cup with a complete team effort, Uruguayans like to say that Soccer is or should be played from the back (defense) and we have that, especially in the beginning. In the end the unbelievable effort during prior games, showed and it cost us.

They also played a very clean game, the few yellow cards were Referees mistakes mostly.

They always will be remembered in "Kimberley" the City where they stayed for almost a month, as very friendly and respectful Delegation.

They were recognized for the good use of the language during talks to the press, showing knowledge, humility and respect in their opinions.

Also they were selected as the Team that played the most exciting games in this World Cup.

Three of their Players made the 11 best - Forlan, Fucile and el Ruso Perez with Diego Godin making the Bench.

The best player of the World Cup (Balon de oro) was Diego Forlan.

When you see, so many people in the Streets of Montevideo waiting to salute and say "Gracias" to this group It's not because they came in 4th place in the World Cup, but because all of the above and how they represented Uruguay in the field (winning or losing) and outside with total and genuine dignity and respect.

Martin the future is great not because of what we accomplished but because of what we learned.

The average age of this Team is 24 years old, we have about 15 under 20 waiting and some 17 already are playing in Europe or in the first division in Uruguay.

For the nonspellers: Urugauy and Monte Video is Montevideo (monte-vid-day-o), real estate agents are "Inmobiliaria", and of course Uruguay is not spelled Uraguay. 4224049065
