WEBCAM IN URUGUAY Just recently we purchased a new Computer and with it a Webcam camera that we are very happy using, contacting our family in South Florida and New York. The system is Skype. How easy and practical it is to use the webcam from Uruguay to the States or others Countries ?

"No difference" There should really be no difference between using your computer, webcam and Skype in the USA or Uruguay. If you have a connection that is too slow or jittery the quality will be less good. In Uruguay the G3 based internet might not be the best for VOIP, but it should basically work. And with ADSL or Dedicado there should be no significant problems.

""webcams and Windows 7"" A month ago I got a new desktop pc with Windows 7. I had no problem adjusting the software for my HP All-in-one scanner/printer to make it compatible with my new operating system, but when I tried doing the same for my Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 I found out there is nothing available on Logitech's official site that is compatible with Windows 7...which made me think about the following...I was planning to replace my old notebook (which I use when I am in Uruguay) with a new one that has Windows 7...but maybe I shouldn't yet...what if when I get there nothing works with it? Like my wireless movistar internet connection? Or my Dell scanner/printer? Or my quickcam? Windows 7 is pretty new and peripherals are slow in adjusting to new operating systems even here so I imagine it's not even in the uruguayan digital radar screen yet.
