Good point Glen. For Nancy'furnished and Comfy', you just need to decide whether you like more urban, suburban, or rural settings. Within the City there are many great neighborhoods. Pocitos, Parque Rodo, El Prado, Cordon, and others. For the burbs likely Carrasco or El Pinar might be to your liking. There are some gated communities too, but they kind of take the fun (not to mention the mingling)out of things. There are a number of Rural farming areas not too far from Montevideo for those who like country living. The Kindle availability of the Total Uruguay Expat Book is cool and Amazon recently released a new Kindle for $139. They say that it ships Internationally for Free. ~P |
