Sundays 1pm, give or take. This sunday (Oct 1) we had 10 people... all living here or working on living here... tourists are welcome too. You don't even have to speak english, but it would be a good idea if you at least pretend to.

Thank author of this post/commentExcuse me for my ignorance but what is Old Maz? Is that a name of a church or a meeting hall?

You mention that it's a good idea if you speak English. Is that because this is a church service for only English speaking people?

The reason I'm asking is because I have never heard of Old Maz nor read about it in any of the articles I have been reading on Uruguay.

Thank author of this post/commentIt is a restaurant and they have a small comedy theater upstairs with an occassional even in English.
