Interest in D'ni Restoration Council?

Thank author of this post/commentWe have been considering a move to Montevideo or Punta del Este for retirement but want to make sure there are other expats with an interest in the restoration of D'ni.

Thank author of this post/comment"What is D'ni?"

"The D'ni Restoration Council Website: Roughly ten thousand years ago, the people who have become known as the D'ni were known by another name and lived on another world. This group of people left their original home world because it would soon become uninhabitable. They possessed a technology, known as The Art, which allowed them to travel to distant branches of what they called "the Great Tree of Possibilities" by carefully describing the place where they wanted to go in a special Book. Throughout our restoration effort we listen to the voices of the past as well as the voices of the present, recognizing that without help, the cavern and Ages of D’ni will see little more than the dust and debris that has covered them for so long now"

Even after having read that I still don't quite understand what it is....though I haven't heard of any expats in Punta del Este involved in anything like this.

Life IS the Great Tree of Possibilities! You don't need to restore anything... you just need to go where you want and life your life to its fullest!

I guess expats would seem to have a larger Great Tree of Possibilities... as least geographically speaking!

I can't speak for the Ancients but I have it on good authority that the ROU is where the Elves come when they tire of Middle Earth.

My local insurance broker bears a striking resemblance to Elrond :-)

Ireland has a rich mythology about the craftsmen-magicians who inhabited the island before the coming of the Beaker Folk and later the Celts. They left numerous gold artefacts as well as several large impressive structures embellished with all manner of strange carved designs which allegedly pre-date Stonehenge.

Whether the people who built them were the descendants of Cassair, Partholon, Nemed; the Fir Bolg and the Tuatha De Danaan nobody knows.

For the nonspellers: Urugauy and Monte Video is Montevideo (monte-vid-day-o), real estate agents are "Inmobiliaria", and of course Uruguay is not spelled Uraguay. 3698009321
