election returns watching?

My husband and I are in Montevideo for a month, studying Spanish before we travel down to Patagonia.

We are wondering, is anyone out there able to/planning to watch U.S. election returns on 11/4? Possibly in English?

If yes, we would love to join forces. We can bring beer, wine, food, cheer.

My husband and I are also in Montevideo for the week and looking for a place to watch the returns. We are staying at a hostel that has a TV but were hoping for something more exciting. I would love to hear if you find anything. Thanks.

Johanna - we've been out of town or I would have responded earlier. Some friends of friends invited us to watch at their mom's house, not really something we can involve other people in. We did find out there is a cyber cafe open until 5am at 1418 Vazquez esquina 18 de Julio. We may end up there when these (relative) strangers get tired of us. I hope the hostel is good or that you've found something else better. Hilary

Hilary, that is good information about the Cyber cafe. At least next time when people traveling in Montevideo would like to watch something in English, they can go there to relax and watch something to their liking.
