Forum Post09/16/11 08:58Rural east Colonia departmento | Rural -v- urban My rural neighbours tell me that they all had census visits from the army but it seems that in settlements like Colonia Valdense, Nueva Helvecia and La Paz (CP, ) the census was conducted by civilians.One of the many rural questions involved listing your immediate neighbours and although I'm pals with Sergio (the neighbouring farmer to the south) I had no idea about his family name. It seems that Sergio didn't know my surname either so the army exchanged the names "Ponet" and "McDonnell" over their radios :-) |
