Mothers day (dia de la Madre) in Uruguay is the 2nd Sunday in May.. May 13. Same as Chile, Peru, US, Canada and a whole bunch of other countries. You'd think Argentina, being so intertwined with Uruguay, that fiestas like this would be similar, but they're not. Argentina celebrates it on the 3rd Sunday in October--the spring.
