Electronic Music Festival Montevideo

Yeh I heard about this last year and everyone said it was great fun. I didn't go because when I heard "electronica" and though heavy house/techno music but I think its much more dance-able than what we refer to as "electronic" music in Europe.

They have a facebook page for this year's event and there is a video of last year's Open Park that you can watch to get an idea. As in true Uruguayan style most details are not up yet, but they say tickets are 200 pesos if bought in advance and they are currently available at Osorio 1171 (on the corner with 26 de Marzo).

There will be pretty impressive technichal set up for VJs including lights and displays, as well as many DJs and really good sound equipment. That, combined with the great outdoor location in Parque Rodo will make for a great night!
