You missed the Unviersity which is free! Some see that as a problem as many people have degrees which ends up making them over qualified for most available jobs.

So most people take advantage of the educational opportunities available to them? That's good to hear. Does that apply to both men and women?

You say that it makes them overqualified for jobs that are available. Does that mean that the people who are graduating universities with these degrees are leaving the country to find permanent employment elsewhere? That seems to be such a shame and waste of talent that could be used to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Uruguay.

The education is great. Hopefully the one laptop per child program which is being implemented in Uruguay now will help the kids understand all the opportunities available to them... without even leaving home!
