Cheap mans a lot of different things to different people. A few more details of what you are looking for could be helpful... are you looking for private or group lessons? What is her current Spanish level? Are you looking for something to augment what she will learn in the public schools?For me I learned Spanish, cheap. At least in terms of dollars and cents... but maybe not so much in terms of time. In fact that is all I spent... time. I'm still at a loss as to what "cheap" is. For one person $50 a month is expensive and for another $5, 000 a month is cheap. It is a word I dislike for several reasons, first, for me, it means not only inexpensive, but also of poor quality.Second, some organizations do a lot of promotion of Uruguay as "cheap, " and at the expat meetings there are always people who have found that Uruguay hasn't met their expectation of being "cheap". In part that is because it is being promoted in an unrealistic way, and in part because of the wide differences of the meaning of "cheap" to different people when cheap is converted to dollars and cents or pesos. Hi, There is a lot of things you can already do by yourself to learn spanish without spending to much money...First, it may sounds ridiculous but it helps a lot... Try to listen as much Spanish as you can. Your ear(brain) will get use to the sounds and it will be easier and easier to recognize them in a conversation and to memorize them. It is very easy to find a lot of Spanish songs, movies, audio books... Even if you don't understand, just listen to them as much as you can. Did you ever hear a song in another language you really like ? You would be amazed how you would be able to sing it quickly without understanding a word... Learning a new language can be fun!
