| Ministering in Atlantida We have also begun ministering in Atlantida in various avenues. The students go once a week to a Nursing Home. We have beach ministry for the children twice a week and also we have begun to make visits to homes or businesses of people that we have met throughout the city. Some who have accepted Christ and others whom we are just created relationships with in hopes that they too will choose Christ to be their Savior.“The Mission” South Carolina is coming to do some ministry here in Atlantida and also in Montevideo. We will be hosting them and working along side of them this week. We have lots of big ministries going one, so please pray for us as we minister. |
| "Why Atlantida?"
Why did you choose Atlantida for your ministering and mission work? |
| "Why not?"
While they comb Atlantida they are not knocking my door in MVD! |

Living as I do in the Uruguayo bible belt I get regular callers from 7 or 8 churches and religious groups. We even have one old boy from La Paz who stops passing cars by pretending to be hitch-hiking and them hits you with an informative leaflet if you stop. They are all pleasant people and seem ready for a chat even after I tell them that I'm a godless Buddhist and show them the papal plenary indulgence I inherited and keep just in case God exists and is a catholic :-) |
| The missionaries are doing their work to get more people under the faith of Jesus. Argentina being one of the places; but it will take a lot of patience and effort as they will be fired lost of questions about their faith and to keep the answers ready before hand will be the first option. |
| They have every reason to do their missionary work in Atlantida just as they have every reason to go anywhere around the world. The good news regarding Christ as our Savior should be spread to all people around the world. Missionary work is not easy and I'm sure these missionaries have encountered a lot of challenges along the way. But their faith in God have kept them going. May they go on to convince more people to put their faith in the Lord our God. |
