| Personal Growth Retreat at Eco-Tourist Estancia Isabel Aguilar will be leading a Retreat at Finca Piedra in Mal Abrigo (near San Jose) on October 17 & 18, 2009.This is a self-discovery and personal growth retreat in Spanish. Isabel is a pioneer of personal growth here in Uruguay. Isabel has presented a wide variety of training, personal growth, personal development, and health and wellness programs throughout the Americas and Europe for over 30 years. The retreat is being held in an Eco-Tourism ranch called Finca Piedra. It is about 25 km outside San Jose and is owned by a French industrialist and operated by his daughter. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is well prepared and well presented. The conference facilities are rustic/modern and have majestic views. To Michelle, While you are free to mention your organizing business here (links and ads are free) I feel like there's a sales pitch lurking in your post. While I personally find your concept lacking the importance of a book or seminars, there are undoubtedly those who could benefit from it. I don't believe there are as many ex-pats here as you may think. The population that propelled your simple concept into a book and lectures, seminars(?); folks with lots of disposable income, is safely nestled at home possibly attending other personal empowerment seminars. Yes! It is my experience that they are not here (in any great numbers at least) and many would like to keep it that way. Maybe you can just enjoy the peace and serenity of Uruguay? Good Luck |
